BARELLAN MEMORIAL SWIMMING POOL

Public BBQ

Barellan Memorial Swimming Pool embodies everything appealing about country NSW aquatic facilities. Brian and Felicity run this operation with genuine warmth, creating an atmosphere that transforms a simple road trip stop into a memorable family experience. The water quality consistently impresses, whilst comfortable seating and shade areas allow clear supervision of both main and toddler pools. The nostalgic charm hits particularly hard for returning locals - forty years of improvements have clearly enhanced rather than diminished its essential character. Fresh donuts and quality coffee elevate this beyond typical pool fare, whilst the calming atmosphere provides welcome relief from highway travel stress. Tennis courts and the licensed club next door add recreational options, though the pool itself remains the main attraction. It's exactly the sort of community facility that makes regional travel rewarding.
